God’s love is here to stay,

At times when you forget to pray,

even when we’re led astray,

see, he molded us in the beginning like a Potter does clay,

he numbered every hair on your head when you were born,

and he still knows the count when you go gray,

what I’m saying is young old from the first footprints in the sand,

and from the cradle to the grave,

God’s love is here to stay,

that’s one of his many promises he will never leave us or forsake us,

and God can’t lie about nothing. He says,

so know that no matter where you are or what you’re going thru,

he’s with you from beginning to end,

cause God’s love is here to stay,
